Munich (Pressweb) - Roland Vogt, Dr Peter Beermann and Karsten Storch now together make up the management board of TÜV SÜD Car Registration Services GmbH (CRS). CRS, a joint venture of TÜV SÜD and Sixt AG, provides services to fleet operators, offering to take over all "official errands" associated with cars.
Roland Vogt (48), an experienced TÜV SÜD manager, has been at the head of TÜV SÜD Car Registration Services since November. Vogt, an automotive engineer and master in industrial engineering, has been with TÜV SÜD for almost 20 years, ten of those as a member of the Board of Management of FleetCompany, a fully-owned subsidiary of TÜV SÜD Auto Service. In addition to his tasks as a Managing Director of TÜV SÜD CRS, he will continue to take care of strategic responsibilities at TÜV SÜD Auto Service. Peter Beermann (36) has a doctorate in political economics and became a member of the management board of TÜV SÜD CRS in August. His focus is on Finances and Controlling. In addition to his above responsibility, he is part of the corporate development function at Sixt AG. Before joining Sixt in November 2012, Beerman had held positions at various management consulting firms. Joining Vogt and Beerman, Karsten Storch (43) has been responsible for the management of TÜV SÜD CRS since June 2011 and completes the trio at the head of the company. In addition to his responsibilities at CRS, Storch is Director Carcontrol at Sixt AG. Vinzenz Pflanz will leave the management board of TÜV SÜD CRS, taking on an executive function at Fleet Logistics International (FLI) with effect from November 2013.
TÜV SÜD CRS covers the entire range of services related to the official registration of vehicles – from documentation management and escrow to key retention and vehicle reconditioning and transport. The company also produces registration plates, reserves registration numbers and takes care of customs approvals. Fleet managers additionally benefit from the broad service range provided throughout the TÜV SÜD Group. The main target groups of TÜV SÜD CRS, established in 2011, are vehicle fleets, car rental companies and automotive manufacturers. In 2012, the company organised around 90,000 vehicle registrations.
